NO archivey, [livejournal.com profile] ninth_wonders, this is just a drabble, when I write #5 i'll post 'em all together! yeeesh.

The joke had begun after a late-night, half-drunk viewing of Monty Python. But it hit all sorts of new levels of silly when, after Mohinder got furious about the top being left off the toothpaste tube or something equally ridiculous, Matt suddenly threw up his hands and cried out, "It's got big teeth! Run away! Run away!!"

From that point on, it was Run Away! whenever someone had left towels on the bathroom floor, Run Away! when an ant was spotted lurking in the recesses of the kitchen cabinet. Run Away! when no new mail was delivered because somebody forgot to check the mail slot.

And then, one late night after a particularly vexing day, Mohinder unloaded on him, and Matt couldn't help himself. "Run away! Run away!" he grinned as he was climbing into bed.

And Mohinder's face changed completely.

Dark knitted eyebrows went down over spark-lit eyes. "That's right," Mohinder said, a slow grin spreading over his lips. "Run away."

"Oh, shit," said Matt's lips, but his smile said oh, yay.

All of a sudden Mohinder was on all fours, the Big Bad Wolf, and helpless Matt in bed was crying 'Run away!" and laughing as he was climbed up, ankles to knees to hips and then hands like paws on his shoulders and an abrasive tongue on Matt's neck.

"What big eyes you have," Mohinder growled as he hit a spot that made Matt's fists clench on the bed and his eyes pop out.

"Wait a second, that's my line," he protested, but Mohinder had moved to lick the shell of his ear.

"What big ears you have."

He didn't seem to care that he'd hopelessly fractured the fairy tale, but all it took was one more well-placed bite and Matt didn't much care either. "Run away," he protested feebly, but at the same time his big hand came up and landed square on Mohinder's backside, pushing him down on top of him.

This time it was Mohinder's turn to gasp. "What a big---"

"Yeah, yeah."

Oh, sorry. 'Chuck' is a result of working with too many Northerners in my office, who say it all the time, as in "How are you doing, chuck?" etc. I didn't realise they were rubbing off on me so much.... Gah! It sounds so common!

I love how relaxed they are here, how all those little annoyances are just another chance to laugh it off. :p And Mohinder as the Big Bad Wolf! Yes, please! :D
