NJCon online fan meetup - 1:30 Friday

Hi all!

I've been coordinating with a bunch of fellow fans on Twitter, Tumblr, and Facebook about online fan meetups this year. We're going to have an initial meet-up/check-in at 1:30 p.m. on Friday to see what's what and tentatively schedule some other stuff - I'm thinking a breakout fanfic panel/discussion at some point during the less interesting bits on Saturday, and maybe something on Sunday too ("and at 4:30, the homoerotic subtext of Supernatural" XD) - so if you all are interested, we'll be meeting in the big sitting area in the Hilton - I'll bring a sign or banner of some sort.

Yes, your entry title mentioned NJcon, but you said 'online fans' (which, now that I'm reading it agian I'm just realising means fans you know from online) and I at first thought you were actually doing something ONLINE during the con.

Sadly I don't see myself in the DC area in the near future, but hey! If you're free in October, come to the Toronto convention!

It's cool, honey, but you're right, there's always that 'why don't you like me?!?!?!' when you hear about some sort of fandom thing you weren't invited to.

But no worries, because you are the last person ever I would think would purposely make someone feel that way :)

If I was in any position to give away random awards that don't mean anything (wait, let me check... I AM) I would bestow you with 'Most Genuine Fandom Friend'.

oh my god, world without end XXXXXXXXXXDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD my brain, i can't even. Can I tell you how much i loved that piece of junk and how happy i was that a few people read it at the time even though I barely put any thought into it at all? I can't believe you still remember it. XD XD
