6) OK, I knew he was gonna be Mr. Amnesia, I totally expected that, but still, the way he said "Cas is alive!?!?!" God, I just loved that.

I literally typed: YES SAMMY. YOU SHOULD KNOW THAT YOU'RE HOT AND THAT I WANT TO MOUNT YOU.

And then the scene switched to the garage.

I typed: JUST LIKE THAT CAR.

8) "Straight-up Menendez?" Oh god, Bobby, you're showing your age. 75 percent of the viewing public doesn't even remember the Menendezes.

9) At some point during these scenes I paused my HD TV and got up and kissed the screen. Twice. Once for Sam, once for Dean. HD, where the fuck have you been all my life. I was so busy marveling, I swear I missed the next scene entirely.

10) I love how Sam's turning on the mega-empathy. JUST IN CASE WE DIDN'T GET THAT HE HAS HIS SOUL BACK.

11) Loved Dean reading the diary, love that he said to Sam, "I love that you even ask me that."

12) From the show that brought you "rehymenated," we now have "dehymenated."

13) Possibly my favorite exchange of the episode:

Sam: I died for a year, came back, and you're still not funny.
Dean: Shut up. I'm hilarious.

14) There are not words to express how awesome the look on my husband's face was when Sam mentioned WoW.

20) OK, the sword scene? If it were anyone else I'd roll my eyes. But Jensen sold it. God bless him, he's good at selling meh material.

21) Dude I don't even know what to say about the Cas scene. I was so confused by his little smile and wanna-hug... he seemed really pleased, tho.... but... oh, God, Cas, thank you for being stupid. I'm glad you were never made a Secret-Keeper, dude.

22) And I have to say, the biggest surprise for me of this episode was that they DIDN'T go the route of having them keep secrets from each other for a number of episodes. I'm really, really pleased that the maturity in their relationship at least remained that much, even if Dean had a moment of regression. Because you do regress, when you're put in a tough situation, and maturity can lapse. So I thought it was believable, and I'm glad that Sam and Dean were able to talk about it in the end. So that.. that was an awesome conversation.

But I'm getting ahead of myself. XD

23) That poor lady's basement. Husband's comment of the night: "You are NOT scoring with Mrs. Robinson." XD

24) What if dragons DO like nice hotels?

25) Dean is a whore.

29) OK, back to the last conversation - my respect for Sam? Through the roof. This is why I'm a Sam girl. right here. The way he takes responsibility in his own way, even if it means he is gonna end himself doing it, his conscience is so real and sincere.... I just... I love this Sam.

30) I was kind of surprised at the ending. I thoguht they were gonna go back and fight some dragons s'more.

This was my first time watching SPN in HD tonight, too! I replaced my monitor with a TV a few weeks ago. TV in the living room is a teenager now ...

Poor Cas needs hugs. I think why Sam shied away was because he may have flashed on the whole 'exam' thing. He was having deja vu moments, and if he had memories coming through due to a skin-walker, then the exam memories also likely bleed through.


Aaaand I am going to watch it again, now.

I was also wondering if Sam was reluctant to hug Cas b/c the last thing he remembered was Lucifer blowing him up. Poor Cas, he had some genuine feelings there for once and Sam made it awkward.

I like your reaction post. I have nothing much to add, but yes, I was also a little surprised when they finished the hunt. I thought they'd go track down the escaped dragon and slay him, or at least moan about how they couldn't find him. But eh, minor details.
