Wolf's Rain has killed my will to live.

OH MY GOD.

Is it just me, or is the take-away message of that anime, more or less the following?

"You can try all your life, but you'll never reach your goals, and there's nothing at the end of that long road but death and emptiness, and even if you're reincarnated, you won't remember all of the people whose existence grew to mean so much to you and you'll be back at square one, chasing that impossible dream and setting yourself up for disappointment once more TL;DR LIFE SUX AND THEN U DIE"

Am I right??

I want to throw myself in the Pit of Despair right now.

When I was a kid, my sister and I used to laugh at tragic movies, saying they all ended with

"AND THE SNOW FELL AND EVERYONE WAS DEAD"

...um, that's LITERALLY how Wolf's Rain ended!!!!

The ending is COMPLETELY DEPRESSING in every way you just explained. Oh God, but it was so beautifully narrated and animated that I embraced the HORRIBLE FEELINGS in my chest like mana from heaven.

Loved Wolf's Rain, and yes the ending was horribly depressing. I think the best part of the show was the music. Yoko Kanno always does such a great job keeping the atmosphere. My wife made a music video to wolf's rain ^_^; so I gotta shamelessly plug it :P

I loved Wolf's Rain, but the ending was the thing that pissed me off the most about the show D8 It was HORRIIBBBLLY depressing. Its like heeeeyy! despite all the horrible stuff you went through it was all for nothing. You ded now. Have a good afterlife kthnx bye.

I liked Darcia at first but then he had to be a HUUUGE whore at the end. I was just like WTF DIE ALREADY!! buh...

On a side note I started watching Sailor Moon S again because of your layout and did crossovers that SHOULD NOT be done.
