Oooo, the plot thickens. I love the attention to detail that you give to this whole universe (I had to go back and read the previous chapters, and it was well worth it!). It's rare for me to get so involved in something that's solely from Matt's POV (I'm a complete Mohinder fangirl and can get bored fairly easily), but this works so well that it has completely drawn me in. I'm really itching to see just what is up with Mohinder's past (fear of the world is one thing, but what's the underlying cause of the fear? I'm guessing that there's some other trauma behind it), the mysterious stranger from the last part of Volume 1, and now the mystery congressman's affect on Nathan and Peter's relationship. I love how you involve all of the characters from canon, too. An Elle/Eden pairing is really inspired. I'm looking forward to more in this universe, that's for sure.
