The Hypothetical AU Meme: Take any one of the fandoms you know I write in, and give me a type of AU (space opera AU, pirate AU,superhero AU, Ancient Rome, etc). I will then explain what story from your chosen fandom I would write for your chosen type of AU.
Oh, God, the things you could do with a Western. You could do Dances With Wolves and have Matt taken in by the exotic-looking Indian chief (I know, wrong kind of indian, I think I will wait for kleenexcow to come down on me like an angry god), or you could have Mohinder as the uptight sheriff's deputy and Matt as the throw-caution-to-the-wind outlaw, or you could have Matt as the justice-loving sheriff who can't read and Mohinder as the city folk who comes west to teach in the schoolhouse, or else he could be the clever thief who robs trains right under Sheriff Matt's nose, or...
for the boys and the ideas... Ooh... Matt as the outlaw sure is an interested idea... But I would probably write something in the line of Matt The Sheriff against Mohinder The Thief...
