Yep. And I dunno, but I honestly feel that what the show did to Cas kinda pissed all over the themes of brotherhood, redemption and forgiveness that have been its bedrock. And for nothing. Misha didn't get to be the bad guy, so really, what was the point? At this rate they could have had Cas go back to Heaven.
I still hope the fact it was left open means Cas will get that proper redemption, but I'm not holding my breath, especially since Misha said he hasn't been contacted. In the meantime, I can choose not to watch… and the reviews I've been reading lead me to conclude that I'm not missing much, though I'm very happy for anyone who's still enjoying the show. ;-)
