JARED PADALECKI. LET ME TELL YOU GUYS ABOUT JARED PADALECKI.

JARED PADALECKI IS HUGE. You try and prepare yourself for it, but it's like, the sheer hugeness of him is amazing. He's like, i don't even know, a football quarterback or something. His face is huge. His hands are incredible. I can't. GUYS. Seriously XD

When Jared comes on stage, it's like -- I don't know, like the sun comes out or something. He lights up the whole room. And he is so happy and appreciative, and he talks so much about how "all y'all" are the reason he's here, and he's so touched by the love, and ... then when he laughs he totally doubles over, and ... I don't even, it's like having the sun in the room, I swear to god. I was so fucking charmed.

LET ME TELL YOU SOME MORE ABOUT JARED PADALECKI.

You watch him, and you're utterly charmed by him and the way he is with everyone and how he picks up the little girls and you're like sure, I've had photo ops with the others, I can handle him...

and then you get within 20 feet and suddenly OMFG HAIR EYES SMILE CHEEKBONES DIMPLES.

I seriously couldn't breathe or speak right. I think I tried to say "Thanks for coming out all this way" and maybe like ended up saying "Thanks for um all this way."

THE MAN IS UNEARTHLY IN HIS GORGEOUSNESS.

So yeah. So there was that. And then I swooned for a bit, and then I had the duo op with both Jared and Misha. With jabber_moose. We were going to bring Nutella jars as props, but we got a bit nervous with the security and stuff, so we just asked them to do chin/hands instead, and OH MY GOD YOU GUYS WAIT TILL I UPLOAD THIS OP, YOU WILL DIE OF DEADNESS. MISHA IS SO FIERCE AND JARED'S EXPRESSION IS TO DIE FOR.

I'm abusing capslock, aren't I? hahahahah suffer.

Right. So. Jared panel.

Have I mentioned when Jared smiles the whole room lights up? Same thing when 1000 people are in the room. THE WHOLE ROOM. The guy is so friendly and smiley and sweet and at the same time fucking gorgeous and huge and ripped. he should not exist. He is an angel.

And then Misha came on stage with him and THESE GUYS. OH GOD TOGETHER THEY ARE ASDJKFL;LKJFDA. There was so much looking at each other and inappropriate touching and grinning and laughing at each other and bromance and I can't even, they were so cute. And Misha, god DAMN it Misha looked good!! Fatherhood has agreed with him. He looked happy and relaxed and beautiful, the complete opposite of how stressed out he seemed at this point last year.

Which didn't stop me from ruining everything, but never mind that. We'll get to that later.

So Jared and Misha's panel was so quality I couldn't even begin to adequately tweet it. But here's what I had--

* misha just came on
* Misha is ... Omg
* Misha tried to cover Jared's pic on the banner
* I got lots of suggestive pics XD [Note, the camera sucked and none of these really came out! If you'd like you can kind of squint at these - One | Two | Three - but they're really hard to make out.]
* they are both in good spirits XD
* misha is fangirling the Situation
* they would have the Situation as a guest star and kill him on a tanning bed
* girl just did her Misha impression
* Misha opens a present for Jared, they fight over it
* this panel is so quality
* asking for a re enactment of a scene from the king's speech
* Misha is censoring himself omg I can't
* Jensen's stunt double pranked Jared recently
* on the set Jared crawled his hand up Jensen's leg and Seb cracked up
* Jared ripped his shirt, Misha says it happens all the time
* Jared's patronus would be a moose
* Misha's would be a pony
* Jared and Misha did Confetti it's a parade with a fan

Incidentally, here is the spoiler post from tumblr that I posted. a small spoiler really, but I thought it was significant.

And then Jared left, and Misha was alone on stage, and there was a serious dearth of good, meaty questions thereafter. I was very distressed at the lack of talk about Castiel's character or Misha's thoughts about the season, but you can't control what other people ask. So sorry about that.

The Tibetan throat singing was really fucking cool, too. Misha does it very well. Talented fucker. :)

After this came the autographs. Again, once I got within twenty feet of Jared, my brain left me and I was all bah-bah-bah. I was actually super sad when I left because I wouldn't see his face again. Angel. I'm serious.

Halfway through the autographs, when I was directly in front of the stage, Richard came through and "iced" Brock right in front of me, so I got a good pic -



Then to Misha's autograph and this is where I had my no-sleep diva moment. Since I had tweeted the whole con, people were telling me how distressed they were that there were no Cas spoilers. So I went to the autograph line and said to him, "misha, you gotta help me. The internet is gonig to kill me if I don't get some kind of spoiler for Cas. Anything. What he had for breakfast."

"OK," he said, "I can tell you that I'm not in the episode that Jensen is directing right now, which is probably on purpose, since I would probably sabotage it--"

"That's it?" I fail at journalism. "That's nothing I haven't heard before."

And he said, "I don't care."

My husband was right behind me, and he stopped and asked Misha to sign his RPG book the way he signed his picture at last year's con, "With Hatred and Loathing."

"How come he does what you say and not what I say?" I sort of whined. Misha shrugged. I went out of there feeling a) disappointed that I was not able to get anything out of him, b) like the last thing I had done was snap and whine at him, and c) did I mention I hadnt gotten much sleep all weekend? Sooooo... I sort of collapsed at that point and went into a conniption fit, crying like a teenager. I felt like I couldn't ask Misha for the posed photo op I had wanted from him, because I pissed him off or was ungrateful or whatever, and blah blah blah, long story short, I skipped Brock's panel and went upstairs and cried, and gave hubby my photo op ticket, and whined a lot that I was gonna skip the photo op and hubby should go get it for me.

And then Twitter encouraged me and I slept a bit and cried a lot and decided to have a last-minute Chariots of Fire moment.

So I put on makeup and ran to the elevator and ran down the hall and ran into the photo op room and ran into hubby's arms and if you couldn't hear the Chariots of Fire theme in the background honestly you are more sane than I am. XDDDDD

My eyes were kind of red when hubby and I got to the front of the line, so I think Misha could tell I was upset, so he was extra smiley and nice to me. I told him I'd be chuffed if he and my husband would fight over me a bit, so hubby did his pugilist stance and Misha grabbed my arm and I went out of there still fighting back sobs but feeling a lot better about myself.

AND THEN I WENT AND HAD TWO MARGARITAS AND WAS VERY INAPPROPRIATE IN FRONT OF MY FRIENDS AND IT WAS WONDERFUL. <3 <3 <3

So all in all it was a great con!!!! :DDDDDDDDDD

don't feel too bad about not getting spoilers out of Misha -- I don't think he's probably allowed to give anything away. He did say in the meet and greet he doesn't know how many eps he's going to be in so that bodes well for them not killing Cas off in the first couple of eps because then he'd know, right?

It's a beautiful report and each time I have more and more willing to meet Jared in person can one day hopefully. He is the Sun King!!!!!
