I couldn't have squeed it better! Oh god, so much of it tore me to pieces. Dean is being pummeled into dust. He is going to break. Oh god, Sam's best memories don't involve his family, and while he is upset that Dean is upset and while he get's that family means something different to Dean, he still carries his own opinions about the matter and isn't sorry for the choices he made (Stanford).

But the end, oh lonely broken Cas. He risked it all and for what? He isn't even able to go home! His lost face, his anger, he desparately needed a hug[yes, preferably from Dean]. Then the amulet. I was thinking something bad and then Dean did it. He threw the amulet into the garbage. The camera cuts to Sam's face. Oh no! All three members of Team Freewill have been destroyed!

Weeps. :(

Except, see, I had actually interpreted it as saying that Dean and Sam WERE soulmates, since Ash said it was difficult to go between people's heavens and yet even though they experienced both of their different memories they still stayed together through the whole thing without any signs of difficult. Also I figured why else would they bother with that line since there was no other payoff there? LOL, I think that was good how they never really made it explicity clear what that line was meant to mean so that anyone can interpret that how they like. :D
