MOHINDER: These agents, they're too powerful. We tried to stop them, but we weren't--
MATT: We went after the wrong guy. *slaps photographs on table* Emile Danko has been pushing this whole thing. That bastard killed Daphne, just as sure as he pulled the trigger himself.
MOHINDER: So it's revenge? You just want to see him die?
MATT: I want him hurt. I want him to feel what he's done.
MOHINDER: Matt, please. Let's just talk about this.

Seriously, all I saw was "OMG Matt's gonna duke it out with Danko in moral outrage and Sylar's gonna have to protect his man I CAN'T STOP SQUEEING!"

I could see Matt thinking he's got Danko cold but then Danko morphs into Syler. It shatters Matt's concentration giving Syler the upper hand. And just when Matt's about to be killed Mohinder saves him.

And if Mohinder jumps in to save the day I'm gonna have to insist on him using the Sunshine Smile to disarm Sylar. :)
