The beginning was so heartbreaking; they're both so desperately sad and lonely... And poor Molly, shipped off to Canada... Oh God, and then I actually cried at the sort-of-maybe-if-we're-really-lucky happy-ish ending.

It was the three of them, not the two of them, that worked so well together. YES!!!
