I think what I really loved in this chapter and in this story is the amount of love the characters feel for each other. And it is love that wins in the end. One of my fav books is a Wrinkle in Time, and it is that message that love saves the day that I have always held onto.
Thank you for that last line..."world without end." And John as the God vessel: YES, YES, YES! Please let that happen in the show! And please let the ending of S5 be similar to yours (I also am into Lucifer's redemption and return to heaven).
